My name is Kathleen Brunelle. I have been teaching English at ORR for many years! I feel very lucky to teach at such a great school with its supportive community and wonderful students. In addition to my English classes, I also teach a theater elective and a genealogy elective.
Before coming to Old Rochester, I taught all levels of freshman English at UMass Dartmouth. I also worked as an editor in Newton, MA.
In addition to teaching, I also enjoy writing. I have been lucky enough to publish my work in various journals and magazines. I have also written two books on local history: Bellamy's Bride (The History Press, 2010) and Highfield and Tanglewood: A Tale of Two Cottages (The History Press, 2012). I am currently working on two new books.
I love teaching, and I am excited to begin the new year!
